Isaiah 30:19, 21 (NAS)
O
people in Zion ,
inhabitant in Jerusalem ,
you will weep no longer. He will surely be gracious to you at the sound of your
cry; when He hears it, He will answer you...And your ears will hear a word
behind you, "This is the way, walk in it," whenever you turn to the
right or to the left.
Isaiah 30:19, 21 (NIVUS)
O
people of Zion ,
who live in Jerusalem ,
you will weep no more. How gracious he will be when you cry for help! As soon
as he hears, he will answer you...Whether you turn to the right or to the left,
your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, "This is the way; walk in
it.
You are one
of God's chosen people and you dwell in Zion, a permanent place
of peace. The peace that rests on your life makes you a signpost and
monument to others. The Lord Jehovah has caused you to be preeminent
and excel above your fellow men.
Although previously you were in a place of weeping, now Yeshua (Jesus) is your joy. You were humiliated and grieving, but He has been gracious unto you. You are a recipient of God's favor and mercy.
When you cry out for help, putting sound to your voice, the Lord listens attentively and with great interest. He understands what you need and grants your requests. But you must keep your ears attuned to His voice; when you hear His words, you must be obedient to them. Agree with and consent to what He says; for He will give you promises and commands to direct you. He will tell you the way that you should take. With each step of your walk, His words will lead you. If you are to go right, He will tell you; however, if you need to turn left instead, His words will guide you in that way as well. As long as you listen to Him, you will not walk in the dark, but continue on the right path for your life.
