This is a
trustworthy statement; and concerning these things I want you to speak
confidently, so that those who have believed God may be careful to engage in
good deeds. These things are good and profitable for men.

trustworthy saying. And I want you to stress these things, so that those who
have trusted in God may be careful to devote themselves to doing what is good.
These things are excellent and profitable for everyone.
It is a true statement that you have faith in God through His Son, Jesus Christ. You have entrusted your spiritual and physical well-being to Adonai, your Heavenly Father. You are committed to and rely upon Him for your salvation. You have been convinced of the truth of the gospel through the evidence you see in others and through the authority of God's word.
Now that you are confident in what you believe, you should constantly affirm and confirm the Truth through your words. Not only will this establish your faith for others to see, but it will also make you steadfast, firm, and sure. You will build up yourself with your own words of faith. You will also build a fence around your mind and thoughts, as you exercise a life style in accord with God's word, ways, and purposes. Keeping your mind fixed on these things will silence and stop the enemy's attacks.
It is important that you practice good deeds. Such work and activity is beautiful in the sight of God. When you do this, you will stand before and rule over your enemies; for this proves that you are superior to those who act from purely selfish motives. As you continue to abide in God's covenant of love and mercy, Adonai will hold you up. Your rank will be evident to all.
