Proverbs 3:5, 6 (NAS95)
Trust in the LORD with all your heart.
And do not lean on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He will make your paths straight.
You can have confidence in the Lord.
He makes you bold and secure. In Him you can feel safe, without any cares. Entrust
your whole heart--your mind, your will, your emotions, your memories, your
reflections, your determination, your conscience, your thoughts--into the
strong hands of the Lord. Do not let your own understanding, discernment, or
perceptions be your support. No matter what course your life takes, intentionally
choose to acknowledge, recognize, and confess your need of the Lord.
Continually strive to learn what His will is for you in each and every circumstance and event. When you do this, He will always, intentionally, and continually put you on the right path. You will be upright and go straight ahead with esteem and approval. You will be pleasing and agreeable in His sight!!!
